Sumit & Anita's House in Orchid Whitefield

Modern and rustic is a statement theme for contemporary houses and what’s better than wood to add character to this theme. Sumit and Anita’s house in Whitefield is an example of the wooden theme and the home interior is elegant and inviting. Our team of the best interior designers in Bangalore ensured that along with bringing a contemporary vibe to the house, they added traditional elements which bring out the Indianness of the home. As they say, the ceiling is the crown of any room, you will see that the ceiling of the foyer area design is given an unusual style with wooden work making it nothing less than a crown. Adding to the rustic appeal of the house, there is a stone cladding wall which adds drama to the foyer area design. In the living room design, you will find a blooming backdrop on the wall behind the sofa which adds a ‘wow’ factor to the room. Adding the natural element to the room is the wooden false ceiling design which is also functional as it adds lighting to the room. The marble wall behind the TV unit adds a striking upgrade to the room with storage space to keep crucial items. The puja unit with CNC design includes Lord Ganesha and small bells that are great for ventilation for diyas and incense sticks while adding religious elements to the unit. Apart from being practical, these CNC designs are also appealing and add the right amount of Indian touch to the interior design. As you move toward the dining area, you will find an intriguing pattern made with mirror tiles. The tiles change the appearance of the room by bringing more light and adding volume, and depth as it visually expands the room. To add to the modern home design, there is a 3D design board which is a new trend in wall covering. The six-seater dining area speaks family time with a homely white wall paint color. The modular kitchen starts with a breakfast counter with wooden wall paneling. The wall paneling works as a great home decorations element while separating the dining area from the kitchen. White kitchens can never go out of style and this cool hue is created in Mr Sunil and Ms Anita’s house. The sleek and minimalist modular kitchen is supported by natural lighting which gives a sense of more area to the space. The tandem drawers are of multiple sizes for kitchen utensils and groceries of different sizes. The rolling shutter allows you to keep your kitchen essentials while offering a rustic charm. The all grey wardrobe design in the guest bedroom is given a touch of wood and golden lines which makes up for a wonderful contrast. A similar pattern has been used in the wall paneling which lifts the contemporary room. The wooden bed in the guest bedroom complements the interior design giving the rustic look. Offering the same theme, the bathroom has a mirrored cabinet which reflects light and boosts space. The bathroom also looks cleaner with all the knick-knacks stored in the cabinet. The tiles which are the foundation of the bathroom give a tranquil feeling. There are slabs made in the bathroom to keep decorative and essential items. In the master bedroom, you will find a mirrored sliding wardrobe design which is a sleek and functional piece of modular furniture that also makes the room look bigger. The wooden wardrobe matches the wall paneling and brings out the whole rustic theme of the room. Another statement piece of modular furniture in the bedroom is the designer TV unit that is compact yet unique. Out of all the rooms in your home design, you need your bathroom to be the cleanest and hygienic which cannot happen without proper storage. That’s why we added a blue and white cabinet which provides space to store multiple items while adding to the clean theme of the home design. The washbasin in the bathroom is an example of minimalism which looks like part of the home decorations. The stone-clad white wall works great with the warmth of the wooden table in the study area. The study unit offers various open and closed storage spaces for not only storing books, documents, and computer equipment but also larger items which would be rarely used. The area is supported by roof lighting which provides ample light to the interior design. The walls of a house reflect the personalities of its residents and in the case of Mr Sumit and Mrs Anita’s house, it is no less than a work of art. Our designers at Asense Interior created a textured wall that livens up the room just like the lively personality of Mr Sumit and Mrs Anita.
